How long to collect: Run the collector for at least 7 days, and ideally 14 days or more, so the evidence covers normal business peaks. Under 2 days, Savio asks for a new collection; 3 to 7 days gives only a preliminary result. Each upload uses one assessment run, so a collection that is too short uses a run without giving a full answer.

Safeguards
- Cost Optimization diagnostics must be explicitly enabled in the Savio Collector.
- Passwords are collector-only and must not appear in normalized reports.
- Pricing is deferred; results show workload fit and evidence checks only.
- Optimized targets must pass memory, instance IOPS, instance throughput, tempdb, edition, orderability, and independent harness checks.
- Compute and storage provisioning are assessed separately. Storage changes remain planning guidance only.
